Template languages
Styles are shared across languages; copy and screenshots are saved per language.
Language tabs and layers
A template is layered by language: style — screenshot position, font size, colours, background — is shared across all languages, while text and screenshots are saved per language. Switch language tabs at the top to change the layer you are editing.
Adding and removing languages
The language list matches the store languages you ticked for that app under Apps; tick a new language there and its tab appears here.
- A new language layer starts empty and inherits the shared style.
- Text and screenshots in each layer are independent — fill them in or translate them as you like.
Default language
The default language acts as the fallback for other languages and as the source language for the first translation.
Per-language copy and translation
Each layer can be filled in by hand, or you can translate once to generate copy in many languages; see “Translation Modes” for the methods and language coverage.
Before translating, tick the languages this template should support under Apps; each one then appears as a tab at the top. To translate, pick one of the added languages as the source and write its copy into the languages you ticked in one go — only the copy is replaced, style and screenshots stay as they are.
