Getting started

Download the app and build your first store screenshots in five minutes.

Before you start

Store Connect Studio is a free download on the Mac App Store. All core features work right away — no payment required.

To connect App Store Connect you need an Apple Developer account. Create the API key in Apple’s portal with the steps below:

  1. Open App Store Connect, go to Users and Access → Integrations
  2. Create a Team Key
  3. Note down the Issuer ID and Key ID, and download the certificate file
  4. Enter these in Settings to access the apps in your App Store Connect

Credentials are stored only in your local Keychain and are never uploaded to any server.

Meet the window

The sidebar has six sections: Templates, Screenshot, Apps, Purchase, Translation and Settings. On the Templates page, apps and languages sit on the left and the design canvas on the right.

Your first set in five steps

  1. Connect App Store Connect (enter Key ID, Issuer ID and pick the .p8)
  2. Add an app under Apps and unlock it (each unlock uses 1 app slot)
  3. Import source screenshots under Screenshot, or turn on Simulator capture to collect them automatically
  4. Pick a system template under Templates to create your own, then replace the copy and adjust screenshots, assets and the magnifier
  5. Sync screenshots and copy to App Store Connect under Apps

What next

We suggest reading “Create My Template”, “Edit My Template”, “Create Screenshots”, “App Screenshots” and “Translation Modes” in order — together they cover the whole workflow.
