App Store Connect Connection

Connect securely with an API key and fetch the apps you can manage.

Create an API key in Apple’s portal

  1. Open App Store Connect, go to Users and Access → Integrations
  2. Create a Team Key with at least the App Manager and Developer roles.
  3. Note down the Issuer ID and Key ID, and download the certificate file (the .p8 private key can only be downloaded once — keep it safe).

Enter the credentials in Settings

In the App Store Connect section of Settings, enter the Key ID and Issuer ID, pick the .p8 private key you downloaded and click Connect and Verify to reach the apps in your App Store Connect.

Fetch apps, unlock and pick languages

  1. Once verified, the left side lists every app the key can access, matching what is online.
  2. Select the app you want to manage and click Unlock; confirming spends 1 app slot to unlock management.
  3. After unlocking, tick the store languages for that app; the canvas and sync scope narrow accordingly.

Where credentials live

The Key ID, Issuer ID and .p8 private key are stored in your macOS Keychain and never uploaded to any server; the app calls Apple’s official APIs directly from your Mac.

You can remove the key from Settings at any time; after removal no credentials remain on your Mac. If a key has too many permissions, create a dedicated one in Apple’s portal.

Troubleshooting

  • Key reported as invalid: check that the Key ID and Issuer ID have no extra spaces and belong to the same key as the .p8.
  • Apps missing: ensure the key role includes App Manager and that the account can access the target app.
  • Permission error on upload: add the Developer role to the key in Apple’s portal and save again.
