App Screenshots
Manage store screenshots per device in the app detail and sync them live.
The Screenshots tab
Once an unlocked app is selected on the Apps page, four tabs sit at the top: Screenshots, App Info, App Release Info and In-App Purchases; store screenshots are managed per device in the first tab.
- Each tab maps to one group of content in App Store Connect; this page handles screenshots only.
- Switch language on the right; screenshots are stored and uploaded per language.
Devices and size checks
Screenshots are grouped by device class, each with its own set of store sizes; export and upload both check against them.
- iPhone, iPad and Mac each have their own group.
- Images with a wrong size or an alpha channel are flagged before upload.
- Export lays a white background first and flattens, so no transparency remains.
Upload and replace
- Choose the target device and language first, then click Import to pick images.
- Drag thumbnails to reorder — the order matches the store.
- To replace one image, drop the new one onto its spot; the rest keep their order.
Sync and retry
- Click Sync and choose which pages and fields to upload.
- Copy uploads first, then screenshots page by page, with per-item progress shown.
- Failed items are flagged individually; Retry re-uploads only those.
App version info (version number, build) is not synced here: the binary is still uploaded by Xcode or Transporter — this tool handles screenshots and metadata.
