LLM Translation Context
Give the LLM a bit of product context for more fitting, consistent translations.
What the context is
The context is a short brief with product background, a glossary and tone notes, injected as the system prompt of each LLM translation request so the output matches your product voice.
Create and edit
- Create a new context in Settings and name it after the product it belongs to.
- Describe the product positioning, recurring terms and desired tone — Chinese or English both work.
- Save it, then pick it when you translate.
When it applies
- It applies to online LLM translation only; Baidu Translate and offline translation ignore it.
- Without one, translation falls back to the default prompt and still works.
Contexts are stored in the app support folder at TranslationContexts/prompts.json and can be edited or deleted anytime.
