Version Comparison
Compare two versions and put the metrics next to the Name / Subtitle / Keywords change.
How the comparison works
Pick a Version A and a Version B and a 7 or 14 day window. Both versions are aligned by the number of days since that version first appeared in the download data, so day 1 always meets day 1 regardless of release dates.
Metrics compared
Each metric is shown as a daily average over the window, side by side.
- Acquisition: impressions, product page views, conversion rate.
- Downloads: first-time downloads, total downloads.
- Revenue: purchases, sales, in-app purchases, paying users.
The metadata diff
The Name, Subtitle and Keywords changes sit right above the metrics, so what you changed and what it did are on one screen. Turn on the only-changed filter if you just want the edits.
App Store Connect has no public API for reading the name, subtitle and keywords of a version that has already been released, so those values cannot be recovered afterwards. A snapshot is stored locally only when you edit and upload App Info in this app; versions from before that will show N/A.
Filtering by region
You can keep only the regions tied to a language to read the comparison. Note that the analytics reports have no language dimension — the data is worldwide.
