Analytics Overview

Pull App Store Connect reports and read acquisition, downloads and sales in the app.

Connection and permissions

Analytics uses the App Store Connect API key you connected in Settings; that key needs the Admin, Sales and Reports, or Finance role. It is available for apps you have unlocked in Apps.

Apple needs 1–2 days to generate the first report. The app pulls a historical snapshot first and then daily increments, so right after connecting you may have to wait a bit for numbers.

Date range

  • Presets: last 7 / 30 / 90 days, last week, last month, year to date, lifetime.
  • Or set your own: by day, week, month or an explicit date range.

Overview

Puts the headline metrics for the selected period on one screen, so you can read the trend without picking a dimension first.

Acquisition

The funnel from impression to product page. Click rows to multi-select; selections across groups intersect, so territories KR + CN with devices iPhone + iPad gives four lines.

  • Metrics: impressions, product page views, conversion rate, plus the unique-device version of each.

Downloads

Separates new users from existing ones and shows how total downloads break down.

  • First-time downloads, redownloads and updates are listed separately.
  • Total downloads = first-time downloads + redownloads; updates are not counted.

Sales

Comes from the App Analytics purchases report; amounts are settled in UTC.

  • Sales is the transaction amount in USD including tax; developer proceeds is what you actually receive after Apple’s commission.
  • Purchases, in-app purchases and paying users are listed too; paying users are not additive across rows, so don’t just sum them.
